Brookelynn has grown so much ang has done so much!! She has had her first bath like a big girl, She rolls across the bed or room. Where ever she is hangin. She sleeps in a big girl crib. Yes!! She grew out of the bassinet!! I have some pictures to post. But I do have to say i miss out on a lot of growing since I went back to work,,,but we got to do whatever we got to do to take care of the family.

Its been so long. And I say that again and again. Its not easy having responsibilities. Its crazy. Have some new pics but haven't uploaded them yet. She is growing so fast. She gets so frustrated laying on the ground, since she can't move. All she can do is roll over. She can not wait to crawl. She trys to hold her bottle by herself, sometimes, but usually likes to knock it completely out of her mouth or control it. She so has her own personality. It will not be too long before she thinks she knows what she wants. She kinda already does.

Brookelynn found her thumb. Well, sort of. She likes to suck on it now. She still can't figure out how to exactly put it in, she usually just sucks on her whole fist until her thumb lands in her mouth. She gets so frustrated when she can't figure it. It is the cutest thing to watch. I haven't been able to get a picture of her yet trying to do so. So here is a picture with hwer brother with a bald head. (momma shaved the head with the wrong extension). Marcus loves his lil sis. He adores her and oh so gentle with her. More pictures to come. Brother Marcus started Soccer.

Here at Brooks Street. We used to come down here alot while pregnant. It has changed though, not as cool as it used to be. She liked it, I think. She mainly was staring at a tree. She loves to stare at trees. She is a crazy girl. Earlier in the day I took her down to Huntington Beach, put her feet in the sand. She did not know what to think of it. She was pretty cranky. She likes to sleep and hide from te sun during the day. She is definitely a night baby. Now only if she would sleep through the night....

Way Too Long

Its been way too long since I last blogged. No excuses. She is changing so much. Getting bigger, growing out of her clothes already!! She has started to talk. Of course in baby talk. Oohing and Aahing. Big smiles, trying to laugh,. She can stand!! (with a little help). She can roll from her stomach to her back and sometimes from her back to her belly. Today we went to the doctors for a check up regarding her Cystic Fibrosis... She is doing Great!! She is 13 pounds and 5 oz!! Does not stop gaining weight!! Everything so far is checking out to be normal. No more medicine!! Not even the vitamins are needed!! Feeling great!!

Uncle Trevor came down, Didn't get to spend that much time with him, but enjoyed the moments we did. Hope he will come back real soon!! Already miss him and definitely didn't get enough pictures with him...

A Day (& Night) At The Fair

We went to the fair to see the pigs...

We even checked out the cows...

And the whole time Baby Brookelynn was sound asleep in her stroller, hiding from the sun.

But we went back at night for her to check out all the colorful lights...

And Daddy won her a stuffed Bee!! In the end, she had a blast!! She even slept through the whole night!!!

Bookelynn is growing so fast. When I call her Brooke, she kinda laighs at me. When I tell her "I love you Brookelynn" she smiles so big. She does not like to sleep during the day. Especially when daddy is home. And she trys to talk and she coes' all day!! Gotta go,,,,baby bathtime!!

The Longest Week

This past week has been one of the hardest so far. We (mommy and daddy ) have found out that Brookelynn has been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis ( for further info on CF please visit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation website ). Well, they are still running tests to confirm. Regardless, its been really rough on us, and not to mention all the familty around us who love her so much!! We are so lucky and grateful for all the love and support that we have!! Love you all!!!

Every morning when she wakes up we go into the living room for her free time. Which is, she lays with no diaper for some fresh air, Then after a while I will put her on her tummy. Once I hear her grunting, I put her on her back for a little while longer which at that time I get her bath ready. She loves her morning routine.

On Sunday July 11th Brookelynn rolled from her stomach to her side!!! Goodness she is so active already.

Thursday july 16th, while Brookelynn was sleeping in my arms, she laughed. It was a small laugh but she laughed!! Her first little laugh. She is the cutest baby!!

Brookelynn's first 4th of July!! We didn't do too much. She spent time with grandma and grandpa. She woke up in time to see the Angel Stadium fireworks from the end of Collins. She liked them, but was more interested in eating!! (what a surprise). Then we lit some of our own fireworks off. She seemed to like those. That wore her out and to beddy bye she went. Happy 4th!!

Brookelynn has a bog brother, Marcus, who is 6 years old. He loves his little sis, He helps out every way he can. He also trys to hold her!! But not for very long, she is too heavy.

First Stroller Ride

While Daddy took a nap, mommy and Baby Brookelynn took a stroll around the neighborhood. This was her first time in the stroller itself. It was a bit chilly so she was bundled up. She was only a few days old, I believe 5 days!! We were stopped by some kids, saying how cute she is and asked how old? 2 months?? I laughed and said "no, 5 days! Yeah i know she is a big girl". They couldn't believe so young!!

This is the first time at the park. We went to Heisenhower Park in Orange, what we (me and brandon) have always called it the "hippo park". One of our favorites. She touched a tree!!

The First Day Home

The first thing we did when we left the hospital was go straight to Papa's. Had to show him his one and only Great Granddaughter!!! It was a great day. And I am sure my Papa loved to see her. And loves her very much!! Unfortunitly we did not have a camera with us that day so we were unable to take some pictures. But here are a few that we took once we got home. On Sunday June 15th at 12:39am Pacific Time Brookelynn Berch was born. She weighed 9 pounds and 15 ounces! What a big baby girl! Brandon and Laura were so proud.
